So just updating you guys on my life and what is going on recently, this past weekend I went to DC to visit my sister and dyed my hair. Surprise surprise I wanted to dye the tips of my hair a deep pastel pink color but my hair is so dark that it will take two sessions for it to get the right color cause they have to bleach it twice and other unimportant things. So as an end result, I now I have purple hair lol

HAHAHA so now this is me with electric purple hair and not even the tips. But the hairdresser was like it'll wash out to get like the right look I'm aiming for so I'm hoping on that honestly. My next appointment is November 4th at noon to change it to the ideal color I want (whatever that is). The hairdresser said I couldn't wash my hair for a few days so the colors would stick so I'm now here on this glorious Wednesday morning with extremely greasy hair counting down the minutes so I can go home and wash my hair finally.
Anyway, I am still working on that banana in my digital design class. Each week we're suppose to add at least ten layers to the picture. My banana is on the way to rotting and it is just the second week so by the end of this five week process, this banana will be a pile of guck.

I was talking to my sister-in-law about future photography projects and she mentioned her artist friend who said that the art world is really hard to get into etc ya know the usual you'll never make money with art type of convo. But she did suggest an art project that is geared towards capturing political events happening in the area. Especially because it is an election year, there are probably great opportunities to capture political moments. I was thinking about doing something kinda like what Humans of New York does but instead of capturing a person and writing a bio, I would take a portrait photo of the person and ask about their political thoughts and it can be like a daily thing or something. It is still a work in progress but I think it could be fun. I still have to come up with appropriate questions that don't make people feel uncomfortable but still get them involved. Bottom line, it is to get the perceptions of different individuals in an election year.
I guess that is all I have to report for now but here are some more photos of my weekend:
