Wow so much has been going on with me lately where do I even begin. I know this blog is dedicated to art but I've been known to tell a few things about my personal life. Recently, my friend turned 21 on October 23rd and for almost everyone's 21st birthday, you get drunk and almost die but in a fun way. For my 21st, I chugged whiskey, got beer sprayed all over me, and did a ton of tequila shots where I ended up throwing up in my friend's toilet (there are pictures and videos for proof but they're too funny yet horrifying to show). But for my friend's 21st, she goes to University of Miami, she got wasted (duh), had a xanax, and then did half a gram of coke. She completely blacked out after that and had to go the hospital where the doctors were like you almost died literally. Her parents had to fly down to Miami and now she's in a 30 day rehab in Tennessee. She's called me once and told me it's slightly raciest down there but what are you going to expect. That is just a little glimpse into my life recently where I have been super busy and haven't been able to post recently. But now, onto ART!!
Recently, I have only been working with digital art such as photoshop so I wanted to show you what I have been up to! Out of everything I am showing you, I am most proud of my banana video. This is the banana that I have been editing about once a week and adding about ten layers each week to.

This below is for some narrative project I am working on that is due on November 15th, yikes, where I have to edit 13 photos into some narrative story. It is just the first photo of the sequence like a title page. I enjoy making videos out of photoshop so I'll probably try to do the whole project just with animation like the banana above but here ya go.

Anyway, here is my last video where it's just my name and a white moon rising. I think it's pretty cool how the colors slowly blend so enjoy???

I think I really enjoy using my hands when making art and using photoshop is a bit weird for me. I'm slowly getting used to it and am starting to like it a lot (maybe just the things that I understand probably ha). But art is all about self exploration and I am learning about a new side of myself working with digital art.
I've been interested in glass blowing and wanted to take a quick art class regarding it. There is one that is offered in Providence that is only $40 to $55 (depending on which class) for only a few hours on one night and I couldn't ask for anything better. I'm going to sign up for one of the classes once December rolls around when I have more time on my hands. But the best part about this is that the classes are all taught by Ben Giguere, who is the owner of it all, and he used to work in Burlington, Vermont (which I love and I was there this past weekend for Halloween) and was taught by Simon Pearce.
For those who do not know who Simon Pearce is, he is a well known glass blower who set up his business in Vermont and expanded his glass blowing business around the world. He is the father of Kevin Pearce, who is a famous snowboarder and was once on the road to being in the olympics until a head injury halted his journey there. He is part of one of my favorite documentaries, The Crash Reel, which I highly recommend to everyone about snowboarding and an injury.
But anyway, here is a panorama I made on photoshop as well and then edited it to look even cooler. I tried to upload the actual document but couldn't because it was too big. In this panorama, I took a total of 17 photos and then made one huge panorama on photoshop. Since it's too big to upload, I just took a screenshot so here ya go and have fun.
